Role Overview
As a Sales and Marketing Specialist at MailMate.jp, you will play a key role in driving our business growth in the Japanese market. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and crafting marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our offerings are well-positioned in the market and that our brand continues to gain recognition.
Key Responsibilities
  • Introduce MailMate to potential customers with a focus on foreigners. Ability to communicate in English is required.
  • Support customers throughout their purchase journey.
  • Connect with partners and vendors to ensure customer success and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Represent MailMate.jp at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities.
    • Requirements
  • Willingness to connect with people over Zoom and in person.
  • Relative English proficiency as a second language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and improve through feedback and failure.
    • This role is ideal for someone who wants to practice and use English in their work but be part of a Japanese speaking team. Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome and sales experience is not required. A willingness to try new things and challenge oneself are key character traits.
