The Challenge
A MailMate client needed electricity, water, gas, and internet set up across two rural properties in Yamagata, while unable to be present at the properties. With Japanese-only utility providers, mandatory on-site inspections, and a car required to reach both locations, coordinating everything remotely felt completely out of reach.
The Solution
MailMate coordinated directly with each utility provider on the client's behalf — scheduling inspections, attending on-site visits, and managing all Japanese-language paperwork from start to finish. The team handled electricity, water, gas, and internet activation across both properties in sequence, keeping the client informed in English at every step without requiring a single trip to Japan.
