Yurihonjō (由利本荘市) is a city in Akita Prefecture, Japan, situated along the Sea of Japan and encompassing part of the Chōkai Quasi-National Park. Formed on March 22, 2005, by the merger of the city of Honjō and several towns and villages from Yuri District, it has a population of around 74,000.
