Tsugaru (つがる市) is a city located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan, formed on February 11, 2005, through the merger of Kizukuri and neighboring villages. As of January 2023, it has a population of approximately 30,128. Tsugaru is known for its agricultural production, including rice, apples, and melons, and features the Iwaki River and parts of the Tsugaru Quasi-National Park.
