Mitsuke (見附市) is a city in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, with a population of approximately 39,908 as of December 2020. It is the smallest city in the prefecture by area, covering 77.91 square kilometers. Mitsuke is located near the geographical center of Niigata and is known for its traditional silk weaving industry, which has now evolved to include the production of knitted and synthetic fabrics.
